At the reception, Le Quoc Minh, who is also a member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communications and Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, emphasised that the relations between Vietnam and RoK are growing closer and that RoK is always among the top investors in Vietnam.
He expressed his wish to enhance cooperation between the two sides in all areas, especially press cooperation. He also highlighted the cooperation between Nhan Dan Newspaper and the RoK Embassy in recent time.
The Nhan Dan Editor-in-Chief briefed the guests on Nhan Dan Newspaper and its current digital transformation regarding all publications, including print, radio, television, and online newspaper.
Le Quoc Minh also stressed that in recent years, Nhan Dan Newspaper has contributed to fostering Vietnam-RoK cooperation by focusing on reflecting diverse information in its publications about the activities of Korean businesses and communities in Vietnam.

“With the leadership of the two countries’ leaders at all levels, as well as the growing interest of the people and businesses of both sides, the relationship between the two countries will be increasingly tightened, with role of press and media becoming more important,” Minh noted.
Ambassador Choi Youngsam affirmed the fine relations between the two countries in various areas, especially economic cooperation.
He stated that the achievements of Vietnam-RoK relations can be attributed to a significant contribution from Vietnamese press agencies, especially Nhan Dan Newspaper.
“In recent times, Nhan Dan Newspaper has maintained a cooperative relationship with Korean press agencies. We hope that the Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper will soon visit RoK to renew the relationship between the newspaper and Korean media agencies. The Korean Embassy is ready to work with Nhan Dan Newspaper to have a successful visit,” Ambassador Choi Youngsam added.
