Thirty-five candidates from 35 countries and territories showed off their talents and beauty in the final night of Miss Tourism World 2022 at Ho Chi Minh Square Park in Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province, on the evening of December 10.
This is the first time Vietnam has hosted the final round of Miss Tourism World, with the theme “Bringing the world to Vietnam”. This is also the first beauty event in the world in which contestants conduct creative content activities in order to seek the Miss title with the goal of connecting countries and territories.
The 35 beauties journeyed to discover landscapes and historical and cultural relics in Hanoi and other provinces and cities.
Erina Hanawa from Japan edged out her competition to claim the top prize while Justine Felizarta from the Philippines captured first runner-up honour in the Miss Tourism World pageant.
Host delegate Le Thi Huong Ly finished third overall, with Iana Sharikova from Russia and Adeduro Adetola from Nigeria claiming the fourth and fifth places, respectively.
Huong Ly, who is 20 years old this year, is a student at Hai Phong University. She won the first runner-up title at Miss Globe Vietnam 2022 in October this year.
