Huong Ly, 20, comes from the northern port city of Hai Phong. She is currently a student at Hai Phong University.
Speaking at the press conference, held in Ninh Binh province on November 16, Ly said that she has maintained a good health routine and improved her knowledge of Vietnamese culture and history, to prepare for the beauty pageant.
According to Vu Thi My Dung, General Director of the Tam and Cam Media Advertising Company Limited - the event’s organiser, the final round of the Miss Tourism World 2022 will gather the participation of 65 beauties from countries and territories around the world.
From November 17, the contestants will tour Trang An, Hoa Lu ancient capital and Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh province, and leave for Hung Kings’ Temple in Phu Tho province, then Hanoi and Son La province and finally Vinh Phuc province, which will host the final night on December 3.
In Hanoi, the beauties will visit Bat Trang pottery village, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, and other iconic tourist sites of the capital city.
The contest not only provides an opportunity to promote Vietnamese culture and tourism to international friends, but also to helps contestants to introduce their countries’ cultures, and join hands to spread the message of peace.
