The equipment includes computers, printers and some other devices worth 100,000 USD, which is a gift of the Vietnamese parliament offered to the Cambodian Senate during National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue’s visit to Cambodia in November 2022.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang expressed his belief that the office equipment will help enhance the productivity of the Cambodian Senate agencies.
For his part, Secretary General of the Cambodian Senate Oum Sarith spoke highly of the cooperation between Cambodian and Vietnamese legislative bodies, especially the Vietnamese National Assembly’s support for the Cambodian Senate.
He thanked the Vietnamese National Assembly and stated that the equipment would help the agencies under the Cambodian Senate successfully fulfil their tasks.
