The 122 Vietnamese athletes will compete in eight sports out of a total of 13 sports being played at the Games, including track-and-field, swimming, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, chess, judo, and boccia.
Team Vietnam aims to finish among the top four in the final medal tally at this year’s Games, with up to 55 gold medals.
This year’s ASEAN Para Games will take place in Phnom Penh from June 3 to 9, involving more than 2,600 members from 11 Southeast Asian countries.
