The index closed 2.36 points lower after gaining 10.52 points yesterday.
Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) fell by 1.85% to 24.77 trillion VND, with 223 gainers and 268 losers.
The HNX-Index at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, was up 0.31%, with 93 gainers and 95 losers. The total trading volume on the Hanoi exchange reached more than 2,350 billion VND.
The UPCoM-Index at the Unlisted Public Companies Market gained 0.15% to 94.70 points.
