VN-Index falls over 8.51 points

Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index loses 8.51 points to 1,040.61 points on May 4 after gaining 9.49 points on Friday (April 28).

Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) increased by 2.07% to 10.50 trillion VND (447.81 million).

Six blue chips rose, led by ACB of Asia Commercial Bank with a 2.1% gain.

On the other side, NVL of Novaland Group dropped 5.2%, followed by MSN of Masan Group.

Meanwhile, The HNX-Index at the Hanoi Stock Exchange increased by 0.32%.
