VN-Index drops to below 1,035 points

On April 25, the VN-Index loses 6.51 points to fall to 1,034.85 points, the lowest in five weeks.

Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange increased by 3%.

The VN-30 basket saw 27 tickers lose as HPG of Hoa Phat Group rose 1.9% and VCB of Vietcombank up 0.5%.

MSN of Masan Group saw the deepest drop at 2.7%, followed by HDB of HDBank and NVL of Novaland Group at 2.1%.

At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 204.69 points, down 2.08 points (-1.00%).
