Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange went down by 15% to 11.29 trillion VND (463.98 million USD).
The VN-30 basket, comprising the 30 largest capped stocks, saw 10 tickers gained.
Foreign investors were net sellers to the tune of 535 billion VND, mainly selling HPG of steelmaker Hoa Phat Group and STB of Ho Chi Minh City-based lender Sacombank.
The HNX-Index for stocks on the Hanoi Stock Exchange rose 0.14%, while the UPCoM-Index for the Unlisted Public Companies Market expanded 0.79%.
