VN-Index rises 0.26% on July 14

Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index increased 0.26% to 1168.4 points on July 14, closing the week with all five sessions in the green.

The index closed 2.98 points higher after gaining 11.22 points on July 13.

Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) increased by 25.29% to VND20.87 trillion ($883 million).

Foreign investors were net sellers to the tune of VND300.67 billion, mainly selling STB of Ho Chi Minh City-based lender Sacombank and VPB of private lender VPBank.

The HNX-Index at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, where mid and small caps list, was up 0.10% while the UPCoM-Index at the Unlisted Public Companies Market was up by 0.06%.
