VN-Index rises to new peak this year

Vietnam’s benchmark VN-Index rose 0.96% to 1149.02 points on July 10, a new peak this year.

Trading on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) increased by 11.58% to 18.41 trillionVND (778.19 millionUSD).

The VN-30 basket, comprising the 30 largest capped stocks, saw 23 tickers gain.

The HNX-Index at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, where mid and small caps list, was up 1.13% while the UPCoM-Index at the Unlisted Public Companies Market was up by 0.67%.
