The construction of the two projects was commenced by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) on July 14 and scheduled to be completed in 2.5 years. This is an important item of the first phase of the Long Thanh airport construction project.

In which, the T1 road is 3.8 km long, beginning from the west gate of Long Thanh airport and ending at provincial road 25C.

The T2 road is 3.5 km long, parallel to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, which also connects the T1 road with the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway.

The Long Thanh District People’s Committee has reclaimed more than 130 ha of land to prepare for the construction of the roads.

When completed, roads T1 and T2 will help connect Long Thanh airport with roads to Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and other provinces in the southern region. They will also be the main traffic routes to transport machinery and equipment for the construction of Long Thanh airport in the near future.
