12 first prizes presented at national science and technology research competition for high school students

The National Science and Technology Research Competition for Middle and High School Students for the 2024-2025 school year closed on the afternoon of March 21 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Out of a total of 212 projects participating in the final round, the Organising Committee selected 120 projects to award prizes, including 12 First Prizes; 36 Second Prizes; 36 Third Prizes and 36 Fourth Prizes.

Evaluating the competition, according to the Jury, this year’s competition showed diversity in research, creativity and learning spirit of students.

Many projects were highly creative, demonstrating students’ passion for scientific and technological research.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong said that the competition showed the movement of scientific research and innovation in general schools, in line with the orientation of fundamental and comprehensive educational innovation.

At the same time, the number of projects also increased by 63 projects compared to 2024; the quality of projects participating in the competition has also been improved.
