The festival was also attended by the Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia and leaders of Bac Ninh Province and the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Speaking at the event, PCC Secretary Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee and the people of Co Mieu Village and Phat Tich Commune in recent years.
He called on the local Party Committee, authorities, political-social organisations, and people to promote the locality’s tradition and stay united to successfully realise the resolutions of the 13th Party Central Committee and the provincial Party Committee.
He stressed the need to consolidate solidarity in every residential area, family and community, foster the implementation of the patriotic emulation movement, and take care of disadvantaged people.
At the event, the Party official presented gifts to elder people, policy beneficiaries, and poor households in Co Mieu village.
