On the evening of May 1, there were 2 delegations departing from Bien Hoa Station to Hanoi Station with more than 1,100 officers and soldiers on 2 trains. Accordingly, the first group included 565 officers and soldiers of the Air Defence - Air Force Service, Military Region 4 and the Army Ceremonial Group; while the second group included 551 officers and soldiers from the 12th Corps, Special Forces, and Armoured Corps.
Present at the Bien Hoa train station to see off the delegations were Duong Minh Dung, member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Standing Committee, and Nguyen Son Hung, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, along with leaders of departments, branches and people of Bien Hoa City.

Phuong Thao from the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union shared that many people in Dong Nai did not have the opportunity to watch the parade in person to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
However, the youth union members, students, and pupils were very excited to welcome the officers and soldiers who had come to Dong Nai for training nearly a month ago and came to the train station that night to congratulate and see off the delegation who had successfully completed their mission and returned to their units, she noted.
As scheduled, on May 2, there will be two groups with nearly 1,000 officers and soldiers departing by train from Bien Hoa Station to their units in the north and central regions.
