* Arsenal will have midfielder Mohamed Elneny available for their next three Premier League games after winning an appeal against his sending off against Southampton on Sunday. The FA said in a statement on Tuesday that a three match ban had been overturned after an independent regulatory commission accepted that the Egyptian had been wrongly dismissed for violent conduct.
* The Indonesian skateboarding association (PB Perserosi) has set a target of three gold medals in roller sports at the Asian Games this year. Two medals are expected to be secured from skateboarding and the other in the roller skating event.
* The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on Tuesday confirmed its signing of an agreement with FC Barcelona for cooperation in tourism and sports. Tuesday's announcement came 24 hours after the UNWTO announced that Leo Messi had been appointed as an Ambassador for Responsible Tourism where he will accompany former Spain coach Vicente del Bosque and former Real Madrid and Spain defender Fernando Hierro in the role.
* Defending champions Japan were held a goalless draw by the Republic of Korea on Tuesday in their second match of Group B in AFC Women's Asian Cup. The same day, Australia crushed Vietnam 8-0 in other Group B clash.
* Argentina will host Colombia in the Davis Cup playoffs to bid for a place in next year's World Group, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) said on Tuesday. Argentina, who won the tournament for the first time in 2016, earned a playoff spot by beating Chile 3-2 last week while Colombia advanced with a 3-2 defeat of Brazil. The tie will be played in Argentina at a yet to be determined venue from September 14 to 16.
