The contest was launched by the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Centre (SHTP-IC) and KDI Education Joint Stock Company in August this year in the aim to seek and promote highly practical digital transformation ideas in the education sector throughout Vietnam, while creating a venue for start-ups and students across the country.

Notably, instead of only targeting Vietnamese start-ups and university students like the previous editions, this year’s contest also opened to secondary and high school students in order to grasp a more comprehensive look at digital transformation activities in education.

After the qualification round, 15 projects in Group A, for students and start-ups, and 12 projects in Group B, for secondary and high school students, were selected for entry to the final round.

At the award ceremony, the organising board presented one first, one second and one third place prize to best entries in Group A, and two first, two second, and two third place prizes for best projects in Group B.
