As Viet Nam enters a new era — the 'Era of Nation's Rise' — and as the entire Party, armed forces, and people actively prepare for the 14th National Party Congress, hostile, reactionary, and opportunistic political forces have intensified their subversive activities. In this context, the task of safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation and resolutely countering erroneous and hostile viewpoints has become all the more urgent.
This is a particularly important political task of vital significance to the country’s stability and development, as well as to maintaining the people’s confidence in the Party in the period ahead.
The book brings together 27 articles by scholars and experts that criticise and refute erroneous and distorted views advanced by hostile, reactionary, and opportunistic political forces concerning the draft documents to be submitted to the Party Congress and personnel work for the 14th National Party Congress. It also addresses the Party’s viewpoints on the new era — the 'Era of Nation's Rise'; the revolution to streamline the organisational apparatus of the political system; the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices; and guidelines and policies on economic, cultural, social, and foreign affairs, as well as security and national defence.
