In addition to the strong relations with the Cambodian Senate, the National Assembly of Vietnam has also developed close cooperation with the National Assembly of Cambodia. In 2017, Vietnam provided 25 million USD in assistance to build an administrative building for the Cambodian National Assembly. At that time, the Cambodian National Assembly was led by President Samdech Heng Samrin.
According to Fresh News, under the leadership of the NA President Samdech Khuon Sodary, the Cambodian NA continues to strengthen and expand its excellent relations and cooperation with the National Assembly of Vietnam. Last November, after taking office as NA President, Samdech Khuon Sodary visited Vietnam. That visit reflected the deep friendship and mutual trust between the two countries, contributing to further strengthening and deepening the relationship and cooperation between the legislative and executive branches of the two neighbouring countries.
The article also highlights the strong relations among the parliaments of the three countries, including Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos. During a recent meeting in Vientiane, the leaders of the three parliaments emphasised that their cooperation is a long-standing tradition, a valuable asset, and the foundation for cooperation in all areas, yielding positive outcomes for the people of all three countries and the region.
The leaders of the three parliaments were committed to continuing to nurture and strengthen their long-term friendship and cooperation with the people at the core. The cooperation among the three countries not only benefits the people of Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos but also plays a crucial role in maintaining peace and stability in the region and the world.

Currently, Cambodia has 31 investment projects in Vietnam with a total registered capital of 73 million USD, ranking 51st among the countries and territories investing in Vietnam.
On the other hand, Vietnam has 207 active investment projects in Cambodia, totalling approximately 2.94 billion USD.
