Presenting the insignia to the ambassador at a ceremony on March 12, VUFO Vice President Bui Khac Son lauded the diplomat’s successful term in Vietnam.
He stressed that the award aims to acknowledge the ambassador’s contributions to the friendship and cooperation between the people of Vietnam and Chile as well as other Latin American countries.
He said he hopes that the ambassador, in any capacity, will continue contributing to developing the friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
For his part, Ambassador Claudio Andres De Negri Quintana said he was honoured to receive the insignia, the most notable reward of the VUFO.
