Ambassador He Wei expressed his hope that the students who received the scholarships will continue to study hard, grow stronger and strive to make great contributions to Viet Nam's path toward socialism and to become successors to the cause of China-Viet Nam friendship.

Attending the ceremony, Tran Thi Phuong, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Ha Noi Union of Friendship Organisations, emphasised that this was an important event demonstrating the traditional friendship and practical cooperation between Viet Nam and China, as well as the great concern shown by the Chinese Embassy in Viet Nam for education and training in Ha Noi in particular and throughout Viet Nam in general.
