The programme gathered the participation of 14 art groups, 40 gong artists, 10 flower-decorated vehicles, and more than 450 city dwellers.
The parade departed at 19:00 and toured around the city’s iconic Xuan Huong Lake.
The event also featured a flower-themed fashion show, street circus acts, a demonstration of Ao Dai, and a parade of flower-decorated vehicles.
Visitors to the event were entertained with the vibrant music performances of local artists and joined in mass gong performances.
Themed ‘Da Lat Flowers – Symphony of Colours’, the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival will run until the end of December with 10 main events, including a New Year’s music show, an international seminar on green tourism and cultural industries, and a “wine - tea - coffee street”, among others.
