During the visit to the Mondulkiri Provincial Police Department, Colonel Dao Viet Hung conveyed New Year greetings to the people, officers, and soldiers, wishing them good health, happiness, and continued success in national development, defence, and security. He also expressed wishes for the enduring growth of the Vietnam-Cambodia friendship and solidarity.
At the same time, he hoped that the two sides would continue to strengthen coordination in managing and protecting the national border, combating cross-border crimes, especially drug trafficking, human trafficking, and illegal border crossings.
On behalf of the leadership of the Police Department of Mondulkiri Province, Major General Orn Bunyrithy, Deputy Director of Security, expressed gratitude for the warm sentiments and New Year greetings extended by the Dak Lak Border Guard.
He affirmed that in the coming time, the Police Department of Mondulkiri Province would continue close cooperation with the Dak Lak Border Guard in sharing information on security and order, jointly fighting crimes along the border, and countering hostile forces attempting to disrupt border security between the two provinces.

Expressing appreciation for the sentiments of the Dak Lak Border Guard Command, Lieutenant General San Kim Eoun, Commander of the Mondulkiri Military Sub-region, expressed his joy and gratitude for the material and spiritual support received over the years, especially the timely assistance in disease prevention and support for medical care provided to units stationed opposite Dak Lak Province.
Notably, during both country's national holidays and traditional festivals, the two forces have regularly exchanged visits and greetings, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining and nurturing bilateral solidarity. This also lays the foundation for future generations to preserve and promote this valuable relationship.
The Commander of the Mondulkiri Military Sub-region also expressed the desire for continued cooperation in preserving the integrity of border markers and boundary lines, ensuring security and safety for joint teams working on demarcation and marker placement between the two countries, contributing to the building of a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border region.
