Deputy PM Pham Gia Tuc works on Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project

On July 16, at the government headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc chaired a working session with the Ministry of Finance and other relevant ministries, agencies, and businesses on the progress of the application and procedures for adjusting the investment policy of the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project, as well as the investment preparation for the Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Project.

Speaking at the meeting, the deputy PM requested ministries and agencies to proactively research and propose breakthrough mechanisms and policies, especially in selecting investment methods, creating a legal basis and favourable conditions to accelerate the project's implementation progress.

Relevant ministries, agencies, and businesses should continue to coordinate closely and proactively resolve difficulties and obstacles, ensuring the progress and quality of assigned tasks, he said.

The deputy PM noted that the Ministry of Finance is assigned to chair and coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the two corporations EVN and Petrovietnam, relevant ministries and agencies, and the Government Office to urgently complete the dossiers and documents according to their assigned functions and tasks, thereby ensuring the quality and progress of reporting to competent authorities for consideration and decision, and submission to the National Assembly as prescribed.
