The five-episode series is an epic portrayal of this model relationship which was forged through the trials of history.

It is the result of a rigorous, sustained, and heartfelt co-production process involving journalists, filmmakers, experts, and historical witnesses from both countries.

According to the Cuban Embassy in Viet Nam, the documentary not only revisits major historical milestones but also delves deeply into humane stories in which friendship is nurtured through sacrifice and absolute trust between the two peoples.

The five episodes are structured as a vivid chronicle linking a heroic past with a dynamic present.

More than a television production, “Cuba and Viet Nam: Brothers by Choice” conveys a profound political and cultural message.

The series helps affirm historical depth and educates younger generations about the spirit of pure internationalism and the shared responsibility for safeguarding peace.

In Cuba, the series will be broadcast from December 29, 2025, to January 2, 2026, on Cubavisión Internacional (CVI) and national channels, marking the 67th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

In Viet Nam, audiences can watch the series on VTV9 at 4:30 pm, starting from December 29.
