Focus on promoting Viet Nam’s Socio-Economic Development Achievements

At the meeting, members of the subcommittee reported on the results and progress of the tasks assigned. On behalf of the subcommittee’s standing body, Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Commission for Information and Mass Mobilisation of the Government Party Committee, and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated that the subcommittee had issued and implemented plans for photo exhibitions; produced documentary films to serve the congress; and emphasised several key tasks before, during, and after the Congress of the Government Party Committee.

Among these, propaganda efforts focused on highlighting the meaning and importance of the Congress of the Government Party Committee; the theme and motto of the congress; the content of its documents; the activities and outcomes of the congress towards creating a joyful atmosphere and trust in the congress; the attention and leadership of Party and state leaders towards the Congress of the Government Party Committee; and the implementation of the post-congress propaganda plan.

In his concluding remarks, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh highly appreciated the efforts and dedication of the members and the subcommittee’s standing body in focusing on directing and implementing the assigned tasks and requirements.

He requested that the Party organisations under the Government Party Committee complete their congresses; and continue to strengthen propaganda efforts for the congresses of affiliated Party organisations towards the Congress of the Government Party Committee, with a particular focus on promoting the exhibition of national achievements with the theme “80 years of the journey of Independence–Freedom–Happiness” in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (2/9/1945–2/9/2025); and stressed that this is a particularly significant exhibition affirming the achievements of the Party, the country, and the nation.

Party organisations under the Government Party Committee must thoroughly prepare the content and participate with a strong sense of responsibility, contributing to the successful organisation of the exhibition.

On the occasion of the anniversary, the entire country will simultaneously inaugurate and commence 80 key national projects. Therefore, the subcommittee must focus on directing strong propaganda on the significance of each project and initiative to the socio-economic development of the country and to people’s lives, creating a strong impression and confidence in the country's development in the new period.

The deputy PM requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate with the Viet Nam News Agency in organising photo exhibitions at Vietnamese representative offices abroad, thereby contributing to promoting the image of the country, its people, and socio-economic achievements to international friends.
