On behalf of the Politburo, Politburo member, Permanent member of the PCC's Secretariat and Head of the PCC’s Organisation Commission Truong Thi Mai, presented the badge to former Politburo member Anh.
In his remarks, Mai highlighted Anh’s life and career, as well as the former Politburo member’s contributions to the Communist Party of Vietnam and the country, while he held different positions.
For his part, Anh expressed his honour to receive the badge and pledged to make more contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
