The programme will kick off at 21:10 on December 31, 2024, at October 30 Square, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City. It will open free of charge for people and tourists.
The program will feature a reportage introducing 10 outstanding events and achievements of Ha Long City in 2024, as well as performances praising love, youth, and spring.
The performances will be brought to the stage by popular singers from Quang Ninh Province.
A 15-minute fireworks display is also be scheduled to take place from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 1, 2025.
The New Year Countdown 2025 programme is among the activities held within the framework of the ‘Ha Long – City of Festivals’ project, which
aims to promote the land, culture, and people of Ha Long.
The programme is expected to stimulate tourism by creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere to serve the local people and tourists during the New Year holiday.
