On August 21–24, the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade organised the Viet Nam Export Brand Fair 2025 at Vincom Mega Mall Royal City Square, Thanh Xuan Ward.
With a scale of 120 booths, the fair attracted the participation of around 100 enterprises. Exhibits included products meeting standards of quality, origin, and export orientation, as well as goods already exported or meeting high-quality benchmarks.
Notably, many products on display at the fair belonged to Ha Noi’s key export groups such as agricultural products (including rice, dried bananas, coffee, freeze-dried fruit, and fresh fruit); food (sugar, fish sauce, packaged coffee, tea and frozen canned products); handicrafts (ceramics, high-end lacquerware, export bamboo and rattan products, horn products, leather goods, bronze items, and embroidered paintings); garments, silk; as well as tiles, bricks, and interior equipment.
In addition to exhibition activities, the fair also featured a common space showcasing typical export products, a direct-online trading area (livestream), and a business networking area.
Dang Ngoc Phung, representative of Phung Hung Export Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative, said that about 90% of the cooperative’s products are exported. However, this year’s exports face many challenges. Orders to Taiwan (China) and Europe, particularly the Russian market, have decreased significantly due to conflicts and market fluctuations.
According to the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade, since the beginning of 2025, the city’s export turnover has increased by 12.3% compared to the same period in 2024.
The Ha Noi business community has strengthened efforts to export Vietnamese goods to international markets, with exports now reaching 205 countries and territories. The main export markets include ASEAN, the United States, the EU, China, and Japan.
Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade, said that although Ha Noi’s export turnover has grown remarkably, enterprises must look beyond traditional markets. He emphasised the need to expand into new countries and rgeions. Therefore, the department is actively implementing support measures such as trade promotion and business networking.
