Ha Noi Giftshow is held annually under the direction of the Ha Noi People’s Committee, led by the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade and implemented by the Ha Noi Industrial and Trade Promotion Centre (IDC).

This year’s fair features 500 booths from 230 enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities, including 180 from Ha Noi, displaying and promoting signature handicraft and gift products for export. The event is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors and traders.

As part of the fair, the display space for newly designed handicraft products in 2026 features unique and creative products of high economic, technical, and artistic value from artisans, production facilities, and enterprises.

In addition, the fair features six demonstration spaces for signature traditional crafts of the capital, including lacquerware and red-lacquer gilding; rattan, bamboo, neohouzeaua, and fern weaving; fabric weaving, embroidery, and silk; ceramics; fine-art woodwork; and fine-art products made from bronze, stone, and horn.

One of the highlights of Ha Noi Giftshow 2026 is the promotion of both in-person and online trade connectivity, aligning with e-commerce and the digital economy. Firms will receive digital promotion, trade-matching support, and assistance in launching their products on domestic and foreign e-commerce channels after the fair.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Xuan Luu emphasised that, to contribute to Ha Noi’s overall target of double-digit growth of 10% or higher, the handicraft sector can no longer rely solely on traditional production and business methods. It needs a strategic shift from “mass production of low-value goods” to “creative, sophisticated production with high added value,” while also serving as a bridge between culture, creative industries, tourism, and exports.

Over the years, Ha Noi Giftshow has become a bridge connecting craft villages, enterprises, and artisans with domestic and international markets, while helping promote the cultural values, traditional crafts, and handicraft products of Viet Nam.
