Exhibition “Viet Nam’s Cultural Heritage, Scenic Landscapes and Traditional Handicrafts 2025” opens

In Hai Phong City on November 21, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Hai Phong City People’s Committee and relevant agencies and units to organise the Exhibition “Viet Nam’s Cultural Heritage, Scenic Landscapes and Traditional Handicrafts 2025” in celebration of Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23.

The exhibition is organised with diverse, rich and impressive display spaces, vividly reflecting the panorama of cultural heritage, scenic landscapes and the quintessence of Viet Nam’s traditional crafts.

Among them is the thematic display space “President Ho Chi Minh’s Care for the Nation’s Cultural Heritage,” honouring his deep affection and attention to the cause of preserving and promoting national culture; the photo space “Viet Nam – The Land of Heritage,” introducing UNESCO-recognised heritage sites; and the space “The Colours of Viet Nam’s Intangible Cultural Heritage,” featuring quan ho folk songs, Hue court music, and the gong culture of the Central Highlands, highlighting the symbol of unity in diversity within Vietnamese culture.

In addition, the exhibition introduces the Vietnamese Ao Dai within the context of national cultural heritage, arranged alongside a light sculpture art space, a Ceramics & Tea space, and the photo exhibition “Heritage Journey 2025,” all offering a wide range of emotions for visitors. The space “Promoting Viet Nam’s Rural Tourism” provides a place for visitors to explore and experience traditional crafts, enjoy rustic cuisine, and learn about green and sustainable community-based tourism models.

Furthermore, the display spaces of Hai Phong City and other provinces and cities such as Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, and Hue bear the distinctive cultural identity of each region.

On this occasion, from November 22 to 24, there will also be activities such as the “Festival of Traditional Folk Art Clubs”; the street parade “Honouring the Vietnamese Ao Dai”; the art exchange “Shimmering Colours”; the public art exchange “Viet Nam My Homeland”; an art programme introducing the heritage of the Northern Communal House Cultural Space; and a dance exchange celebrating the successful organisation of the Exhibition “Viet Nam’s Cultural Heritage, Scenic Landscapes, and Traditional Handicrafts 2025.”

The exhibition aims at effectively promoting Viet Nam’s cultural and natural heritage, boosting tourism development, and enhancing public awareness and responsibility in preserving the nation’s cultural and natural heritage.
