Concluding the meeting, Nguyen Duy Ngoc affirmed that Ha Noi had implemented the directive of the Party Secretariat in a serious manner and in line with the spirit of “returning to work immediately after the Tet holiday.”

The city took good care of policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged groups; not only did the number of recipients increase, but this year’s level of support was also higher than in previous years. Public security and order were maintained, enabling residents of the capital to celebrate Tet in a joyful and peaceful atmosphere. A number of key political tasks and major projects continued throughout the holiday period. The Tree-Planting Festival was held in a methodical and effective manner, creating a vibrant atmosphere among officials, Party members, and residents of the capital.

Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested that authorities and sectors at all levels, from the city to the grassroots, immediately focus on implementing tasks from the first days after the Tet holiday, ensuring that work is not disrupted or delayed, thereby safeguarding the city’s socio-economic development targets for 2026.

Departments and localities were urged to strengthen direction, guidance, and management of cultural, artistic, and spring festival activities to ensure they are appropriate, practical, safe, and economical, while avoiding ostentation and formalism and contributing to the building of a healthy cultural environment and civilised lifestyle.

The municipal People’s Committee and the standing agencies of the steering committees were asked to closely and effectively coordinate with central agencies to finalise the draft Politburo resolution on the development of the capital in a new era; the dossier for amendments to the Law on the Capital; and the draft Master Plan for the Capital with a 100-year vision, ensuring progress in submitting reports and seeking opinions from competent authorities in accordance with the set schedule.
