The information was released at the National Energy Efficiency Conference 2021 jointly held on December 10 by the Office of the Steering Committee on Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Hanoi Municipal Department of Industry and Trade.
However, some localities have not yet been allocated funds to implement the national programme on economical and efficient use of energy, the awareness of the community and businesses are still limited, not ready to access information about technology and energy saving solutions.
At the conference, the delegates exchanged, discussed and shared experiences in implementing energy saving and efficient activities, at the same time, proposed the Ministry of Industry and Trade and localities to take measures to promote the national programme.
In 2022, the Steering Committee on Energy Efficiency will continue to review, develop and perfect mechanisms and policies on economical and efficient use of energy.
More attention will also be paid to technical support for energy audits, building energy management models for energy-using facilities; building a database on energy, energy saving and efficiency; strengthening inspection, assessment, implementation of the provisions of the law on economical and efficient use of energy.
