Addressing the ceremony, Politburo member Nghi, who was assigned to steer the Hanoi municipal Party Committee, spoke highly of Quang Nam province’s achievements and expressed his hope that Party Committees at all levels, authorities and local people will continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, unity and creativeness, and intensifying work and production emulation in order to fulfill set targets successfully.
The official also presented Quang Nam province VND2 billion (US$88,000) to help take care of Vietnamese heroic mothers and policy beneficiaries.
On behalf of Quang Nam province’s leaders, Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Quang expressed his gratitude to sentiments of the Hanoi municipal Party Committee, authority and people of the city granted to the province, promising that the province will preserve and promote values of the presented materials and artifacts.
On the same day, Politburo member Nghi and his entourage visited, offered incense and planted a memorial tree at the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Monument in Tam Phu commune, Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.
