The technical team was presented in the garden area from 7am on March 25 to prepare for flying the hot-air balloons.
The festival features 18 level-one hot air balloons (10m high) and four level-seven hot air balloon (22m high).
Festivalgoers can experience flying up in hot air balloons to see Hanoi from above.
They can also explore the inside of the hot air balloons.
Tickets are sold at the price of 60,000 VND/person, and are free for children under 1.1 m. Tickets to visit the inside of the hot air balloons are 25,000 VND, while a hot air balloon ride cost 150,000 VND/child and 300,000 VND/adult.
The hot-air balloons create a beautiful display at the foot of Vinh Tuy bridge.
The three-day festival is being held by the Hanoi municipal Tourism Department within the framework of the ‘Get on Hanoi 2022’ tourism programme.
In the evening the same day in Hoan Kiem District, the organiser introduced low-flying hot air balloons in the area of the Octagonal House and on Dinh Tien Hoàng Street, including 10 level-one hot air balloons (10m high) and one level-seven hot air balloon (22m high).
