He asked the district’s authorities to focus on enhancing Party building, realising the Party resolution and Politburo’s decree on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples, improving human resource training, and speeding up administrative reform.
He stressed the importance of expanding the market product, improving the planning of industrial parks, developing traditional crafts, and addressing environmental issues.
He also requested for close coordination with the city’s sectors in order to attract more attention and investment from investors to develop the district’s agricultural production, industry, and traditional crafts.
In 2016, Phuc Tho district gained comprehensive results in all fields, with progress seen in the granting certificates of land-use rights for locals, which have created favourable conditions for the locality to restructure its production.
The district attained an economic growth rate of 9.1% last year and its total budget revenue was estimated at VND218 billion (US$9.64 million).
It has also established itself as an exemplary model in improving dialogues with people and creating consensus in society while implementing its assigned tasks.
