This annual event has been held since 2017, with the two unions from their respective cities alternating in sending delegations to visit, exchange, and learn from each other.
Speaking at opening ceremony for the exhibition, Nguyen Truong Luu, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Literary and Artistic Associations, emphasised the spirit of cooperation and exchange while further promoting cultural and artistic development between the associations of the two cities.
On the occasion, an art performance programme featuring artists from both cities offered a variety of impressive performances showcasing the cultural essence of both Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).
In 2025, the cultural and artistic exchange event between the two cities will be held in Daegu City in the RoK.
