Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications held a press conference on October 19 to announce a series of events in response to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10). This year’s event theme is "Digital Technology - A New Growth Engine for Ho Chi Minh City" to promote the digital transformation process and enhance the city’s digital economy capabilities.

The event series is an important opportunity to review and assess achievements thus far while defining key priorities and solutions, further accelerating the city's digital transformation. The initiative is expected to foster innovation, improve the efficiency of the digital government, and enhance the quality of public administrative services, better meeting the needs of citizens and businesses.

Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Week 2024 will take place from October 22 to 23, featuring two main activities. A technology exhibition will showcase 50 booths presenting achievements, digital platforms, and models from various departments, sectors, and localities. It will also include an interactive area where visitors can experience digital transformation solutions and applications from leading technology enterprises in the city. In addition, a plenary session and six specialised workshops will be held during the week.

A Digital and Audiobook Week will also run from October 25 to 31, featuring works related to digital transformation and information technology.
