The drones created colourful images in the Ho Chi Minh City sky, featuring signature symbols of the city such as Ben Thanh Market, Nha Rong Wharf, and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
The closing ceremony also included a wide range of water sports such as jet skiing, windsurfing, and flyboard performances.
The ten-day festival provided locals and visitors with nearly 20 activities, including a fireworks display, the reproduction of a floating market, a fruit festival, folk games, and cuisine events.
The festival aimed to further promote sustainable development, positioning Ho Chi Minh City as a riverine urban area that is rich in cultural identity, as well as to inspire the exploration of diverse destinations within the city and across the country.
