This requirement aims to accelerate the construction of major investment projects, and ensure that Ho Chi Minh City attains double-digit economic growth.
Accordingly, for projects currently under construction, such as Ring Road 2, Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4, the Ho Chi Minh City-Moc Bai Expressway, and the Ho Chi Minh City-Thu Dau Mot-Chon Thanh Expressway, project owners and investors are required to intensify their efforts to ensure completion in line with the approved schedule.
In particular, construction sites must be arranged to ensure continuous, uninterrupted operations, especially during the Lunar New Year holiday as well as in the period immediately afterwards.
For projects that have recently broken ground or commenced construction, such as the Rach Chiec Sports Complex Project, Phu My 2 Bridge, and Can Gio Bridge, efforts must be concentrated on construction, with all available resources mobilised and every opportunity utilised to accelerate progress.
During the Lunar New Year holiday, project owners and investors are requested to speed up preparatory work so that construction can be launched right after the holiday.
According to the city’s Department of Construction, to date only construction of Ring Road 3 and the Xuyen Tam Canal will continue during the Lunar New Year holiday.
