The event attracted representatives from Korean government agencies, businesses, tourism associations, media organisations, and other partners.
Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador Vu Ho highlighted that Hue is not only a land of heritage but is also steadily developing into a modern heritage city, preserving its cultural identity while pursuing green and sustainable growth.
According to the diplomat, Hue’s ability to transform its rich cultural heritage into a driver of growth has given the city a distinctive appeal among international friends and partners.
Ho noted that, as the Viet Nam-RoK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership continues to grow stronger, cooperation between localities will help translate the strategic vision of the two countries’ leaders into practical projects and programmes in tourism, investment, culture, education, and people-to-people exchanges.
He expressed confidence that the roadshow would encourage more Korean tourists, businesses, universities, and organisations to visit and engage with Hue.
He also reaffirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy would continue to act as a bridge in promoting cooperation between Hue and Korean partners.
As part of the programme, delegates and guests enjoyed traditional artistic performances; toured exhibitions highlighting Hue’s heritage, cuisine, and renowned craft villages; and explored opportunities for cooperation in tourism, culture and investment.
