A state-level preliminary rehearsal for parade and march for the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) was carried out at Ba Dinh Square in the capital city of Ha Noi on August 27.

The State-level preliminary rehearsal featured 43 marching contingents, 18 standing formations, along with numerous columns of military vehicles, artillery, and specialised police units, with the participation of around 40,000 people.

The rehearsal included contingents from the armed forces, the police, mass organisations, standing formations, as well as military equipment and specialised vehicles.

Also present were military contingents from Russia, Laos and Cambodia.
