Lang Son holds various activities to show gratitude to national contributors

The Association of Former War Youth Volunteers, in coordination with the Youth Union of Lang Son province, organised many meaningful activities expressing gratitude to people with meritorious services to the nation, following their joint action programme during the 2019-2021 period.

The Association of Former War Youth Volunteers and the Youth Union of Lang Son province, jointly held a meeting on March 18, to review the implementation of their joint action programme during the 2019-2021 period and sign a new joint action programme for the 2022-2025 period.

During the 2019-2021 period, the Association of Former War Youth Volunteers and the Youth Union of Lang Son province, mobilised resources to build and repair houses for 68 families of war invalids, fallen soldiers, and former war youth volunteers, in addition to providing free medical examination and medicines for policy beneficiaries, with a total fund of over 6.2 billion VND.

Almost all policy beneficiaries in 200 communes and wards throughout the province have been provided with the State’s preferential policies.

At the meeting, the Association of Former War Youth Volunteers and the Youth Union of Lang Son province signed a joint action programme for the 2022-2025 period, focusing on organising activities in support of revolutionary contributors.
