According to Le Hoang Dung, head of the organising committee and editor-in-chief of Heritage Magazine, said that the auction aims to support those affected by natural disasters following the devastation wrought by Typhoon Yagi.

He called on photographers, artists, and the magazine’s collaborators to join the effort to revitalise the north of the country, including Hanoi, Ha Giang, and Thai Nguyen, to restore the beauty they have captured in their images over the years.

The winning entries stood out from more than 400 photos by 156 photographers across the country.

The photos are being displayed to the public at the Exhibition House at No. 93 Dinh Tien Hoang Street in Hanoi.

The exhibition, which will run until September 16, also features 30 works from photo tours to Ha Giang in February and Thai Nguyen in June, organised as part of field trips co-organised by Heritage, the Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and Land Rover Vietnam.
