The draft law was reviewed and commented on by the 15th National Assembly at its 7th session. Following the session, based on feedback from lawmakers, the NA Standing Committee directed the NA's Committee for National Defence and Security to collaborate with the Ministry of Public Security (the drafting body) and relevant agencies to study, incorporate, and revise the draft law, and prepare a draft report on explanation, acquirement, and revision.
The draft law adds five new groups of provisions not currently included in the existing law, including regulations on rescue activities within the scope of the law; provisions on the application of laws related to firefighting and fire prevention, and rescue; regulations on fire prevention for residential-business combination houses; inspections related to fire prevention and fighting; those on addressing infrastructure facilities that do not meet fire safety requirements, and were put into use before the current law takes effect.
In the afternoon, lawmakers will hear a proposal and a verification report on investment policy for the national target programme on cultural development for the 2025–2035 period, and debate this topic at the hall.
