Le Hoai Trung elected as new member to Secretariat

The Party Central Committee elected Le Hoai Trung, its member and head of its Commission for External Relations, as a member of its Secretariat.

The 13th Party Central Committee on October 6 elected new members to its Secretariat at its ongoing 8th plenum.

Trung was born in 1961 in Huong Thuy District of the central province of Thua Thien-Hue. Advanced political theory; Doctor of Law, Master of International Law and Diplomacy.

He was elected to the 12th-tenure Party Central Committee in January 2016 and re-elected to the 13th-tenure Party Central Committee on January 30, 2021 at the 13th National Party Congress.

He is Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations; deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

Le Hoai Trung is a professional diplomat with extensive experience in various fields of bilateral and multilateral foreign affairs.
