The Department of Grassroots Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports have just officially announced the logo to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital city's liberation (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
The 70th anniversary of the capital city's liberation is one of the major anniversaries of the country and the Capital in 2024.
To serve the propaganda and agitation work to help the public better understand the historical significance of this event, the Department of Grassroots Culture and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports organised a contest to create a logo for the 70th anniversary of the capital city's liberation (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
The arts council has reviewed and selected one logo design for the celebration.
The logo design has a strong image of the number 70, with the main colour red. The number 0 is stylised by a five-pointed star, inside is the Hanoi Flag Tower and the number 7, along with the words "Liberation of the Capital".
The Art Council also highly appreciated the idea of the work when inserting the Hanoi Flag Tower into the number 70.
The Hanoi Flag Tower was where the Flag Raising Ceremony occurred on October 10, 1954, after the victorious army marched from all directions to liberate.
The Department of Grassroots Culture requested that local cultural management agencies direct their affiliated units to use this logo to carry out local tasks for propaganda throughout the 70th anniversary of the capital city's liberation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Hanoi City will also use this logo in events, propaganda and agitation activities to serve the event celebrating the 70th anniversary of the capital city's liberation.
