Ready to welcome a large number of visitors
Phu Tho Province predicts that the number of tourists visiting Hung Kings Temple on the occasion of the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day this year will increase exponentially due to the weekend.
Nguyen Duc Hoa, Director of Phu Tho Province’s Centre for Tourism Information and Promotion, said that to welcome numerous tourists to Hung Kings Temple, the province has well-prepared the infrastructure conditions to welcome visitors. At the same time, it coordinates with travel agencies to organise tours connecting the East Northwestern region with Phu Tho.
In addition to the night tour at Hung Kings Temple, which has been organised for many years, Phu Tho Province has collaborated with travel businesses to launch various attractive tours and travel routes. Notably, there are one-day tours to Hung Kings Temple – Hung Lo Communal House – Hung Lo Ancient Village and two-day and one-night tours to Hung Kings Temple – Hung Lo Ancient Communal House – Tam Giang Temple – Long Coc – Thanh Thuy Hot Springs. Apart from that, there are inter-provincial tours with many special and exciting programmes.
To ensure the rights and safety of tourists during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, Phu Tho's tourism sector has guided local tourism sites and service providers to improve their infrastructure and fire safety conditions.
Furthermore, Phu Tho will strictly manage tourism business activities and enhance collaboration with travel agencies to build intra-provincial tours combined with cultural and sports activities during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day.
To ensure the safe movement of locals and tourists, Phu Tho has installed a security camera system at key intersections and major roads and implemented traffic flow management at critical points leading to Hung Kings Temple. Forces have been mobilised to maintain security and order, creating favourable conditions for people and visitors to visit Hung Kings Temple.

Although the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday is not long, it is an ideal time for tourists to relax. Taking advantage of this opportunity, travel companies have developed diverse and attractive travel products to meet market demand.
Travel agencies said tourists usually choose short domestic and international trips this Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday.
According to recent statistics from Booking.com, the most searched domestic destinations by Vietnamese tourists during the period from April 4th to 7th include Da Nang, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Hanoi, Hue, Phu Quoc, Hoi An, and Mui Ne.
Meanwhile, popular international destinations searched by Vietnamese tourists include Thailand, Japan, the Republic of Korea and Malaysia. Based on tourists’ demands, travel agencies have introduced many travel packages for this period.
To serve visitors to the land of the Hung Kings, many businesses have offered day trips to Hung Kings Temple, with adult prices ranging from 490,000 to 590,000 VND per person, and children's tickets at 240,000 VND per child, with free admission for children under five years old. Meanwhile, the two-day and one-night tour is priced at 1,200,000 VND per person. With this tour, tourists can participate in various activities at the Hung Kings Temple Festival and learn about the history and culture of the ancestral land.
