Hanoi’s Liberation Day celebrated in Cambodia

Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia, in collaboration with Vietnamese agencies and businesses in the country held sport activities on October 6 to mark the 69th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-2023).

The activities attract the participation of 50 athletes who are the staff from the Embassy, the agencies and representatives of a number of Vietnamese businesses in Cambodia, such as: Metfone , BIDC, Agribank, Ankor Milk, MED115 and Thaco Agri.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang highlighted the significance of the Capital’s Liberation Day and stressed that over the past 69 years, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Hanoi’s people have constructed many projects and created great achievements in all fields.

The sport activities are expected to strengthen the linkage among the officials and staff of the Embassy with other agencies, he added.
