Themed ‘Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa: Historical and legal evidence’, the exhibition introduces visitors to nearly 500 maps, historical documents, and photos of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos.

Works on display also include photos of the culture, land, and people of ASEAN member countries, as well as ethnic groups in Vietnam, in particular.

The exhibition aims to increase awareness of Vietnam’s sovereignty over its seas and islands among local people, especially younger generations, thus fuelling patriotism and their higher sense of responsibility for national protection.

The event is jointly held by the Cao Bang Provincial Department of Information and Communication, the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Provincial People’s Committee. It will be open to the public until September 23 at Cao Bang City’s flower garden.
